Troubled Moon Films is proud to introduce you to TARTARUS.

October 14, 2004
Some sad news today - Wes Miller, the actor who portrays "Major Wang" in FUNGICIDE has been diagnosed with cancer, and is in great need of your prayers and thoughts. Please feel free to send me an email (dave@troubledmoonfilms.com) that I would be glad to forward to Wes or print off for him to let him know that you all wish him a speedy recovery. Wes has appeared in SUBURBAN SASQUATCH (as Joe the fisherman) and will appear in the now-filming ZOMBIES BY DESIGN. Please keep him in your prayers because as good of an actor as he is, he is a great great friend!

Troubled Moon Films is proud to announce their newest film - ZOMBIES BY DESIGN! That's right, folks! A great, bloody disgusting back from the dead living undead flesh zombie movie is coming soon! An unbelievalbe cast has been assembled and the first read through took place last night. A section will be opened up soon on the website to give you more details on this horror comedy film! And not only is the cast a great collection of actors, but the fantastic gore and makeup effects knowledge of Victor E. will be the working behind the camera! And to top it off, makeup and supplies are coming from DAVIS TRADING POST in Norwood PA (610-461-9712). They have the best selection of makeup and props available - fantastic zombie makeup from their store that is going to make these zombies kick ass! Some cool news here...I've been interviewed and am giving a little insight into the strange-o-rama ride that is my mind. Check it out here at their website There's also reviews of The Revenge of the Earth Chomping Space Marauder and Fungicide , and their pretty good reviews! No, i did not pay Duane L. Martin (the interviewer) for such good words! Also in the news department, "Tartarus" (the psychedlic horror film) has just wrapped principle photography. This film is currently in editing. No release date is set. Also, the script for the next big film is complete, with filming in September and October of 2004. If you are interested in being in a zombie horror film, drop me a line!!

New Productions Underway! Two films are currently in production here at Troubled Moon Films. The first is a psychodelic horror film currently being shot, reuniting cast members Juan Fernandez, Michelle Hanna, Troy Stephen Sanders, Dave Weldon, and Lori McKeon. I'd like to also welcome Sarah Lakshmi to the mix for a role in the film as well! The second film in pre-production is the 2004 big movie shoot for Tmoon films, and that's the big zombie movie! Mary is currently doing a script review, so we'll expect to do casting by the end of July. If you're interested in being in an independant horror film shot in the Philadelphia area in August and September of this year (that's 2004 for those who didn't know) then drop me an email (please include headshot, resume and references).

Well i've been really busy getting Suburban Sasquatch ready for distribution on DVD and VHS, and been reaching out to film distributors. Got some good responses so far, so hopefully that will bode well for our bigfoot friend from the woods! Also have another showing for Suburban Sasquatch that should be lining up soon, I'll keep you all aware of that date. Looks like it may be a double feature also! And i've been working hard on the next film, finishing the script and working with new video equipment as well. Also added a new link to the links page for Ross Warrens Cult Classics DVD website. This guy has an amazing array of hard to find cult horror films on DVD. Check it out at: www.cultclassicdvds.net

Thanks to everyone who was able to attend the special premiere screening of Suburban Sasquatch! The theater looked pretty darned excited as the end credits rolled, so i'd say it turned out to be a good success. No one walked out, anyway! Thanks again for such great support, and hope you enjoyed the movie! Keep tuned for future viewing dates...

April 12, 2004
The Suburban Sasquatch premiere date has been set for April 25, 2004! This is a special event premiere open only to the cast, crew and special guests. If you are interested in being a part of this special event, or are interested in any possible future showings, please contact me: dave@troubledmoonfilms.com

Thanks to everyone who helped make this past weekend at the Philly Classic Video Game Convention such a huge success! Not only were people returning to talk about Fungicide and how much they enjoyed it, but there were plenty of people stopping by to watch the movie (that I was showing continuously on DVD) and the trailer for Suburban Sasquatch! We had a lot of people signing up to see the Suburban Sasquatch premiere too! And there were people buying the Suburban Sasquatch T-shirts. One gentleman bought 2 t-shirts for his daughter, and told me that he used to live in California near a town where Bigfoot was seen frequently coming out by the highway, watching cars go by! Plus, Tommy Tallarico got a chance to see Fungicide and was eager to take it back to the big guns in LA (note: "taking back to the big guns in LA" is an exaggeration. All legal responsibility for that statement rests on Troy Stephen Sanders)

March 12, 2004
Troubled Moon Films got another contract this week. This was a rush job for a friend to have a video made to help get him on "The Apprentice" TV show! Let's all hope Bill J gets on the show!
Onto other news, Suburban Sasquatch is now in the sound fx and music stage of creation. Still looking for a late March/Early April premiere for the film!

February 27, 2004
The website here has gone through some major overhauls this month. That should make the site a little easier to navigate. I've added a STORE area, so you can go to one place to select items your interested in. Also, you'll find all the music videos under the FILMS section.
On to other news, the SUBURBAN SASQUATCH TRAILER has hit over 7500 downloads in February alone! This is a phenomenal amount of viewings of the trailer, and I hope people are enjoying it. Of course, as i'm watching the film progress, I can say that the film will easily surpass the quality of the trailer....stay tuned.... To top it all off, Troubled Moon Films has accepted an internation contract for distribution through the company Maxim Media for FUNGICIDE! This is a great honor and a chance to get to spread this entertaining film!

February 3, 2004
The TV Interview and premiere of the Suburban Sasquatch Trailer will be this Thursday, February 5 between 7 and 8 pm on Channel 48 WGTW. Be sure to tune in! In addition, the Suburban Sasaquatch Trailer is now available onlline as well...go check it out! And to celibrate the countdown to the film and the upcoming TV show, FUNGICIDE will now be available for a limited time at $17 on DVD and $10 on VHS! If you are interested in a copy, please email me at:
dave@troubledmoonfilms.com

Coming in March, I will have a booth at the Philly Classic Video Game Convention in King of Prussia and partnering with Troy Stephen Sanders of the Serious Fix Video Game News/Reviews and Film Site.

January 9, 2004
Well, the interview at Channel 48 WGTW in Philadelphia was today - went off without a hitch! Turned out really great. The show is "48 Update" and airs locally from 7 to 8pm weeknights. Look for an airdate sometime between January 12 and January 16th. More detials to come. For now, here's a picture of me on the set with the host, Catherine Pugh. This was taken right before filming as we were chatting about the program:

Catherine was a great host, and we really enjoyed talking up Fungicide, Troubled Moon Films, and the upcoming Bigfoot film, Suburban Sasquatch. Trailers for all three films will air during the show, with the public premiere of the full Trailer for Suburban Sasquatch! This was a great opportunity to get out and promote not only the work that I've been involved in, but to promote those around me. And yes, Catherine pressed me for what's coming next, so I guess I'm now committed to a zombie film as my next project - with Mary back to co-writing again!
