Good news! Another positive strike for
independant (or is it independent?) films has happened! I'll be
interviewed on a local Philadelphia TV station, Channel
48 WGTW
in January for a 1/2 hour show on Troubled Moon Films and my past and
present works! This will be some great advertising for the horror and
comedy film Fungicide, as well as the upcoming Suburban Sasquatch.
Bigfoot hits the bigtime is how i'm thinking of it! I'll get to show
the trailer for Fungicide, as well as the teaser trailer for Suburban
Sasquatch, AND the world premiere of the Suburban Sasquatch trailer!
Get those VCRs, DVD recorders and TIVos ready to record this great
inside look into the awesome, demented world of Dave Wascavage's mind!
Well, maybe not awesome. Ok, how about strange? Weird? Odd? Whatever,
let me get back to editing the film....
November 20, 2003
Well folks, Suburban Sasquatch, Troubled Moon
Films latest movie, has officially ended the production phase! The next
stop is editing. The full trailer is ready but won't be posted on the
site for some time. Thanks again to all who helped the film by offering
their support and time to complete the project. I guess you could say
the Buckwas stops here! OK that's a little in-depth Bigfoot humor
(Bigfoot is also known as Sasquatch, Buckwas, Mountain Man). I expect
the editing to take me through January, followed immediatly by the
sound effects, and finally the music phase. Hopefully the film will be
done in the February/March 2004 time frame. In the meantime, everyones
favorite horror comedy action slasher flick Fungicide (alright, well
maybe it's not everyones favorite) is mulling over another potential
independent film sale, as well as the possibility of being premiered at
an upcoming horror & sci fi convention. You can still buy your own
VHS or DVD copy of Fungicide by contacting me
(dave@troubledmoonfilms.com) before a big conglomerate gets ahold of
it! Hey this way you're supporting the independent arts directly! AND
making Dave Wascavage out to be a cackling miser! MWA HA HA HA HA!
November 3, 2003
Suburban Sasquatch has officially ended it's
principle photagraphy. The film is now entering the "pickup shot"
phase, where I expect some brief additional shots to take place over
the next few weeks. So many people on the cast have been eager to give
their time to help with re-shoots that it's hard to keep up! Music has
also been started, and the band "Cover This" has completed their first
drafts of 2 songs their doing for the soundtrack. "Experiment" may also
contribute a song as well. An extra special thanks and prayer goes out
to the entire cast and crew for supporting a phenomenal and incredible
project. Thanks to all who are downloading the teaser for the film.
Within the next few weeks, a brand new trailer for the film will
premiere, so keep your eyes open on the site!
October 22, 2003
Well, Suburban Sasquatch is now officially
started online! There's a new page here at Troubled Moon Films with the
first Teaser Trailer from Suburban Sasquatch available for download,
and a partial list of the cast. The film should be wrapping up in the
next 2 weeks. Maybe a few pickup shots on the first weekend in
November. That means the wrap party is coming soon! Othewise in
Suburban Sasquatch news, an interview with the director was recently
made with Town and Country newspaper of Quakertown, so that article
should be available in this weeks edition...check it out! And if you
can't get a copy, here's a
link to a scanned version graciously provided by our own Troy
Stephen Sanders!
September 24, 2003
Suburban Sasquatch is halfway through principle
photography, with main shooting finishing up in October. Pick up shots
should be able to bring filming to a close by the end of October.
Interest is still brewing with Fungicide, as a few more film
distributors are interested in copies of a screener of the film. If
you're interested in buying a copy of the Special Edition DVD of
Fungicide, or are just interested in a VHS copy, drop me an email!
September 2, 2003
Suburban Sasquatch has entered full production!
Shooting will begin this Saturday and continue throughout October. The
cast performed its first read-through this past weekend with an
enjoyable dinner/fashion/prop show! The cast is eager to jump into
their roles. Coming soon will be bios and pictures of cast memebers, as
well as the first TEASER TRAILER from Suburban Sasquatch! Hold onto
your hats, 'cause Bigfoot is in town and he's ready for some fresh
meat! The cast of Suburban Sasquatch is as follows: SueLynn Sanchez,
Bill Ushler, Dave Bonavita, and Juan Fernandez as major characters.
Also in the Troubled Moon Films fold will be: Dave Weldon, Wes Miller,
Linda Jameson, Mary Wascavage, Sarah Schneider, Matt Black, Ed and
Loretta Wascavage, Michelle Hanna, Troy Stephen Sanders and David Sitbon. There
are a few more roles open that will add a few more victims, ahem - I
mean characters.

Jeez, so much to update here! SUBURBAN
SASQUATCH casting is into full swing, with cast interviews ongoing
through this week. Looking at some mighty good people, too!. We'll be
doing first script readthroughs in late August, when the bulk of
filming will start.
On a side note, TROUBLED MOON FILMS has been contracted to film the
recent MusikFest in Bethlehem, PA for the performance of The Slicked Up 9's. They
performed on Friday, August 3 at the Americaplatz for a sizzling 1 1/2
hour show. Fortunately, the weather held out for this event. Filming
went off with relatively few problems (and those who know me know what
THAT means!). There were 2 other competing camera crews that had
precedence, but Mary and I prevailed with filming. A two camera, all
digital recording was done. In addition, I got the soundboard recording
dubbed to CD (ripped and plopped into the video). Expect to see some
on-line exclusives from this in the Music Video section soon.
Onto other news, a little bird told me that a recent FOX 20 news story
was covering independent films, and Fungicide was mentioned! Woo hoo!
Guess you'd all better order a copy of Fungicide now.....
July 23,2003
NOW CASTING! Looking for a lead Male and lead
Female for Suburban Sasquatch. Please send info to
dave@troubledmoonfilms.com. Preferences are for a native american
looking female, and male 18-34. Here's the post from recent casting
notices: Now casting in the Philadelphia area: independent film seeking
non-union (non-SAG) actors and actresses for a low-budget horror film.
The film will be shot during August and September on weekends/available
days in the Philadelphia area. Unfortunately, due to the low budget,
there will be minimal pay for cast. However, meals will be provided
when appropriate, and participation will allow for a copy of the
completed film, and opportunities to screen the film! This will be a
great opportunity to break into a feature length movie. Please send an
email to me at dave@troubledmoonfilms.com for further details. Please
include a photograph and resume if you have them. Current roles
available:
-Athletic Female, aged 18-34, (looking for asian or american indian
look being sought, will consider other)
-Male, aged 18-34, (role will be an independent writer)
-Male and Female bit parts, ages 25+

ITS BEGUN! Suburban Sasquatch has started
filming yesterday, on location in southern New Jersey. Daphne and
Hunter, the first two actors to step forth in Troubled Moon Films
latest creation, did a bang up job! Dave Weldon is back, only this time
he's in the Bigfoot costume. Mary Wascavage has become Production
Assistant for the film, and we're off to a great start! The shoot
lasted slightly over an hour with some great footage. Keep a watch on
the site as a new Suburban Sasquatch section is going to be open soon,
with production notes and still shots from filming. So far the film is
planned for shooting throughout July and August, with pickup shots in
September.
May 18, 2003

The project is in production now. Casting
calls for the philadelphia area seeking local actors and actresses will
be sent soon. Cast and crew announcements for this film to follow.
Contact Dave for any information concerning the film.

BRAND NEW! The entire JC RC Hobbies "DC Ultra Track"
video is online! Check it out in the MUSIC VIDEOS setion of the site.
The video runs just over 6 minutes and has some rockin music set to the
visuals of the fast paced RC indoor car arena! Special thanks to the
group Experiment for the
use of their song for the video.
March 23, 2003
Completed the video for JC R/C Hobbies
(www.jcrchobbies.com). This was a 6 1/2 minute project as an
advertisement for their indoor R/C racetrack. I composed some of the
music, and had some provided by EXPERIMENT
. The film premiered in public this weekend at the East Coast
Hobby Show in Fort Washington, PA. Lots of folks stopped by for a peek.
The video got good response from the owners of JC Hobbies, so much so
that they ordered a few more copies and the web versions! So, look for
the video soon on their website (www.jcrchobbies.com). I may post it
here as well if I can clear up some space...
March 13, 2003
Jeez, don't you hate it when people update
their webpages almost every day?!? What's up with that? Well, i'm sure
things will slow down in a little while. Have two pieces of news today.
I've landed a contract for a 7 minute video for a local hobby store, JC
RC Hobbies in Willow Grove, PA. The video will feature RC car action
from their local track, set to music that I'll compse. Look for the
video at JC RC Hobbies booth at the National Hobby Convention in Fort
Washington in 2 weeks! Also, sales of FUNGICIDE are SKYROCKETING!!!!
I've sold 1 copy! Alright, so it's not exaclty skyrocketing. Slight
fizzle, maybe.
March 10, 2003
Welcome back! I've just added a HUGE gallery of
still pictures from the 3...2...1 Launch! video, and added sevearl
